The Banco de España publishes its Claims Report 2018
The Annual Claims Report is now available. You can use it to analyse the enquiries and claims which the Banco de España dealt with in 2018. It also includes information on the issues supervised by the Market Conduct and Claims Department with the aim of establishing good banking practice criteria which banks must comply with in the provision of services and marketing of their products.
The criteria applied by the Market Conduct and Claims Department have become a reference as regards transparency and consumer protection and as such it is increasingly used by customers, lawyers, consultancy firms and the banks themselves. For this reason, we consider it as a training tool for the financial education of citizens.
