Now you can “Bizum” your coffee

Sending a Bizum has become part of everyday life. For ten years now, we’ve been using our mobile phones to send and receive money, shop online or make donations.

From this week, we’ll also be able to use Bizum in shops.  Bizum is taking another step forward, onto the high street. All you need to do is walk into a shop, bring your phone close to the card reader and pay straight from your linked account – with no card or PIN involved.

*For this to work, both your bank and the shop need to be Bizum-ready. You’ll be able to pay through your bank’s app or via Bizum Pay, the new app designed to make these payments even easier.
