Early repayment of the mortgage loan: does it entail any costs?
If we wish to repay part or all of our mortgage loan before its maturity, the bank may charge us a fee.
The amount of the fee will depend on several variables: date of signature, subrogation or novation of the loan, interest rate of the mortgage (fixed or variable) and the date on which we decide to repay it early.
Thus, the fees that the bank may charge us are as follows:
- If the signing, subrogation or novation of the loan was after 16 June 2019, according to the new real estate credit regulation:
- If the signing of the loan was before 16 June 2019 and there has not been any subrogation or novation after this date, the table of fees that will be applicable changes.
