Open Government Week kicks off at the Banco de España

13/05/2026

As we announced recently, from Monday, 18 May and throughout the week, the Banco de España will be taking part in Open Government Week, an initiative open to all that aims to bring the institution closer to the general public.

More than 40 workshops will be held on topics related to the economy and managing our personal finances, including:

  • What do we mean by inflation? How does it affect us?
  • Look after your money, organise your finances
  • Want to talk to your kids or grandkids about money, but don’t know where to start?
  • Financial security in practice: protect yourself from fraud

The sessions will be available both by videoconference and in person, at our Madrid headquarters and regional branches.

You can also join us for the live recording of our CIENxCIEN podcast, which will take place in the fitting surroundings of the Library. This episode will cover, among other topics, our new Financial Education initiatives.

There is still time to register! See the full programmeAbre en ventana nueva to choose the activities that interest you most. Registration will remain open until 14:00 on 14 May.
