Financial Education Day 2026

This year’s Financial Education Day will take place on 5 October 2026 under the slogan “Save. Invest. Move forward.”

As in previous years, a range of public outreach activities will be held across Spain around that date. These initiatives aim to raise awareness of why financial education matters and to help people gain the knowledge and skills they need to manage their money better at different stages in their life.

The official event will be held at the Madrid Stock Exchange Palace. It will be attended by the organisers of the Financial Education Plan: the Banco de España, the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business. The partner organisations will also take part.

The final of the Financial Literacy Competition will take place during the event.

The ceremony will also include the presentation of the Finances for All Awards in their two categories: the Award for the best financial education initiative and the Award for the best track record in developing the Financial Education Plan.
