Global Money Week 2022

17/03/2022

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Global Money Week (GMW)Abre en ventana nueva, an annual global campaign organised by the OECD International Network for Financial Education (OECD/INFE) that aims to raise awareness of the importance of ensuring that young people acquire financial literacy skills from an early age to help them make sound financial decisions that can enhance their financial resilience and financial well-being in the future.

The GMW will take place next week, from 21 to 27 March, and its slogan is "Build your future, be smart about money". This slogan is intended to highlight the importance of thinking about the future when making financial decisions.

Promoting the financial education of citizens is a priority activity for the Financial Education Plan, which coordinates the initiatives that will take place during Global Money Week. Most of these initiatives have been organised by our Financial Education Plan collaboratorsAbre en ventana nueva. Why not keep an eye on the activities that will take place next week!

Also, on the Finanzas Para TodosAbre en ventana nueva (Finance For All) website you will find daily content over the next week on general personal finance topics that young people should be familiar with (saving and budgeting, indebtedness, payments and investment and insurance products). In addition, each of these posts will be accompanied by a quiz so you can test your financial knowledge.

Don't miss the launch of the event! Next Monday 21 March at midday, the global launch of Global Money Week 2022 will take place. It will be an online event streamed around the world.
