The Institutional Report 2022 provides an overview of the Banco de España, its organisation and structure and the main activities and actions carried out during the past year. Its purpose is to be accountable to society and promote the transparency of its activities.

It is divided into four chapters, which explain: what the Banco de España is and how it is organised (Chapter 1); what activities it carries out (Chapter 2); how it complies with its institutional social responsibility (Chapter 3); and what its resources are and the financial result of its activity (Chapter 4).
