Did you know that Bizum has a transaction limit?

Has the system ever rejected a transaction because the recipient is a "very popular" person?

We are used to using Bizum to organise a collection of funds between people who have to send their contribution. For gifts, celebrations, etc., for example, it is one of the most convenient ways to collect money that comes from many people. But did you know that there is a limit to the number of transactions you can receive through Bizum?

Currently, for individuals, the limit of transactions received is 60 transactions per month. If you make a Bizum transaction to someone who has exceeded this limit, the platform sends a message alerting you that the transaction cannot be carried out and that you can rest assured that there will be no transfer of funds from your account.

Remember that if you have more than one account at various banks, you cannot use the same mobile phone number to activate Bizum in several of them.  You can only activate Bizum in one of the banks (whichever one you wish), although you can switch from one bank to another as many times as you want.

Don't forget to check the conditions when you sign up to any service that affects your banking operations.
