Open Government Week: a packed programme of activities at the Banco de España!
05/05/2026
The Banco de España is once again opening its doors for Open Government Week, welcoming anyone who would like to take part. This worldwide initiative, promoted by the Open Government Partnership, will run from 18 to 24 May.
Our aim is to bring the institution closer to the public and foster transparency and participation. To do this, we have organised a wide range of workshops and seminars throughout the week on the economy and personal finance management, both online and at our Madrid headquarters and regional branches. We will also look at current issues, such as AI-based fraud, which is becoming a major concern.
And, of course, we will be bringing back our family workshops, including “Want to talk to your kids or grandkids about money, but don’t know where to start?”, which proved very popular in previous editions.
Attendance is free, but places are limited, so be sure to sign up as soon as you can.
