Semi-finalists in the School Financial Education Competition

More than 1,000 schools have signed up to take part in the 2025-26 edition of the “Finanzas para Todos” School Financial Education Programme. This initiative forms part of the Financial Education Plan and gives participating schools the chance to enter the School Financial Education Competition.

The School Competition is a quiz on economic and financial topics, with several rounds and two categories:

  • Juniors, for students in years 1, 2 and 3 at lower secondary school.
  • Young adults, for students in year 4 at lower secondary school and students in upper secondary school or intermediate vocational training.

The first round was held online on 8 April.

The schools that have passed through to the semi-finals in the Juniors category are:

  • Colegio Santiago Apóstol (Gandara de Arriba, A Coruña)
  • IES Tavernes Blanques (Tavernes Blanques, Valencia)
  • IES Luis Carrillo de Sotomayor (Baena, Córdoba)
  • Colegio Santo Ángel (Palencia)
  • CPI Alcalde Xosé Pichel (San Roque, A Coruña)
  • Colegio Obradoiro (A Coruña)
  • IES Gregorio Prieto (Valdepeñas, Ciudad Real)
  • IES Antares (Rivas-Vaciamadrid, Madrid)

And in the Young adults category:

  • Colegio Santa Teresa de Jesús (Ourense)
  • Colegio Casa Azul (La Orotava, Santa Cruz de Tenerife)
  • IES José Ibáñez Martín (Lorca, Murcia)
  • IES Río Cabe (Monforte de Lemos, Lugo)
  • IES Pino Montano (Seville)
  • IES Alfonso X el Sabio (Murcia)
  • IES Ramiro de Maeztu (Madrid)
  • IES Gregorio Prieto (Valdepeñas, Ciudad Real)

The semi-finals will be held face to face in September, with the grand final taking place during the main event at Financial Education Day on 5 October.
