Are you interested in contributing to the creation of future euro banknotes?

The European Central Bank, the Banco de España and the other national central banks of the euro area are working on designing the next generation of euro banknotes.

To ensure that these banknotes reflect a European identity, we have launched a survey inviting the general public to share their opinions on what the theme of the future design should be. There are a broad range of themes proposed, ranging from nature and culture to European values.

The goal of the survey is to invite everyone to be part of the journey of designing the banknotes’ new look, so that when the printing presses start rolling, our voices will have shaped the result and we can truly feel like they’re ours.
