We now know the winners of the 12th edition of the Generation €uro Competition

The team of students from IES Pino Montano (Seville) is the winner of the 12th edition of the Generation €uro CompetitionAbre en ventana nueva with their analytical proposal on the monetary policy decision that they believed the European Central Bank should take on 16 March.

The students of the Viaró Global School, in San Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona), and the IES Cabo de la Huerta, in Alicante, were chosen as first and second runners up, respectively.

The finalists went to the Banco de España headquarters in Madrid yesterday to present and defend their monetary policy proposal before the expert jury.

On 30 May, the winning team will travel to Frankfurt as the guest of the European Central Bank to meet with the rest of the winning teams from the participant countries in a programme that will include a meeting with Christine Lagarde, President of the European Central Bank, on 31 May.
