The team of the German School of Madrid has been the winner of the 14th edition of the Generation €uro CompetitionAbre en ventana nueva with its analytical proposal on the monetary policy decision that they considered that the European Central Bank should take on March 6.

The teams of the IES Severo Ochoa, from Granada, and the Liceo Español Cervantes, from Rome, have been chosen first and second finalists, respectively.

The three finalist teams went last Friday to the headquarters of the Banco de España in Madrid to present and defend before a jury of experts their analytical proposal in the field of monetary policy.

Likewise, the governor of the Banco de España, José Luis Escrivá, held an informal meeting with the three teams and answered the questions of its members. Then, they enjoyed a tour of the most emblematic areas of the headquarters of the Banco de España in Madrid.

This edition of the Generation €uro Contest has had the participation of more than 2,000 students, representatives of 520 teams. Of these, 78 teams passed the online knockout test and entered the second phase, in which the three centers that played last Monday's final were selected.

Congratulations to the winning team and our thanks to all the participating teams!
