Bank transfer fees
Who should pay the bank transfer fees?
There are three options:
- SHA: the sender pays the fees charged by his/her bank and the recipient pays those charged by his/hers, so that the expenses are shared.
- OUR: the sender pays all the transaction expenses.
- BEN: the recipient pays all the fees.
Please remember that, for transfers executed in the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), the legislation establishes that the expenses must be shared (SHA).
