Visit to the Banco de España’s branch office in Valencia by pupils with intellectual disabilities

The Banco de España opened the doors of its branch office in Valencia to a group of pupils with intellectual disabilities and learning difficulties to show them round its premises.
These pupils are participating in Fundación ONCE’s “Finanzas Inclusivas” project, which aims to promote financial education among individuals with learning difficulties. The project won the first edition of the Financial Education Plan’s

Award.In addition to visiting the Banco de España’s historic premises in Valencia, the “Finanzas Inclusivas” pupils learnt how to distinguish genuine euro banknotes from counterfeits and became acquainted with some basic financial concepts.
