Digitalization has transformed, among other aspects of our lives, the way we pay. A digital euro would be an electronic form of central bank money that all citizens and businesses could use without replacing, but complementing, cash.

And as something that is present in our lives on a daily basis, a digital euro should be useful to us and meet our needs.
