Statistics in the first quarter of 2021
A total of 9,108 complaints were filed with the Banco de España in the first quarter of 2021, a significant increase with respect to the same quarter of the previous year.
As usual, most complaints were associated with mortgage loans, cards and accounts and deposits.
We also receive enquiries from the general public. In the first quarter, we handled 1,838 enquiries made in writing and 10,417 by telephone.
