Financial Education Day 2025: “Learn more. Plan. Decides”

On October 6, we will celebrate the 11th edition of Financial Education Day under the slogan "Inform yourself. Plan. Decides”, with an institutional event at the headquarters of the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), in Barcelona. The great party of Financial Education can be followed by streaming on the Finance for All website. You can't miss it!
The event will have the participation of prominent authorities such as the president of the CNMV, Carlos San Basilio, the sub-governor of the Bank of Spain, Soledad Núñez, and the general director of the Treasury and Financial Policy, Carla Díaz, among others.
Spanish canoeist Saul Craviotto, two Olympic champions and multiple world and European champions, is our special guest and will share with everyone his experience on how financial planning has been key throughout his sporting career.
And, as every year, one of the most anticipated moments will be the final of the School Financial Education Competition, which this year is held in two categories:
- In the cadet category, the Colegio Entreolivos (Dos Hermanas, Sevilla) and the IES José Arencibia Gil (Telde, Las Palmas) will face each other.
- In the youth category, the duel will be between Colegio El Prado and Colegio Alemán, both in Madrid.
The Finance for All Awards will also be presented during the event.
- The award for the best career has gone to INVERCO, for its commitment to financial education.
- And the award for the best initiative, in BANKIDU, a project promoted by two young entrepreneurs that brings financial education to children from the age of 3.
The Financial Education Day will be celebrated with an extensive program of activities throughout the country, organized by the promoters of the Financial Education Plan and its collaborating entities. The branches of the Bank of Spain will also join this initiative with their own proposals, bringing financial education closer to citizens from different parts of the territory.
