Finance for All Awards 2026: Recognition of excellence in financial education

The Financial Education Plan, an initiative of the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), the Banco de España and the Ministry of the Economy, Trade and Business, has presented the Finance for All Awards 2026.

 Winner of the Award for Best Financial Education Initiative: Pablo Gil

The economist, market analyst and financial educator won the award for his initiative Financial Education for Real Life, which helps people navigate every stage of their financial journey, from their first saving decisions to wealth planning and retirement. The project brings together a wide range of resources, including publications, online courses, conferences, seminars, educational videos, newsletters, practical tools and other free content available online.

 Winner of the Award for Contributors to the Financial Education Plan: Observatory of European Systems of Complementary Social Pension Plans, Universitat de Barcelona

The Observatory of European Systems of Complementary Social Pension Plans at the Universitat de Barcelona received the award in recognition of its work developing a personal financial development index. The tool measures individuals’ financial knowledge, their ability to put that knowledge into practice and their financial attitudes and behaviour.
