Your rights when making payments in Europe

New technologies can make our lives easier and help us manage and settle our daily payments. European Union regulations make electronic payments (transfers, direct debits, card and smartphone payments, etc.) cheaper, easier and safer for users.

The European Commission has issued a leaflet listing your rights and obligations when making payments so that you can access this information easily.
