Today, Monday 3 October, Financial Education Day is being celebrated under the slogan "Education for more Secure Finances", with the main event being organised at the CNMV headquarters in Barcelona. For the first time, this event is being held outside Madrid and you can stream it on our website.
During the main event, presented by journalist Ana Boadas, the final of the Financial Literacy Competition for Schools will be contested between the two finalist schools: IES César Rodríguez from Grado (Asturias) and IES Príncipe de Asturias from Lorca (Murcia).
The 2021 Finance for All Awards were also presented to three banking associations, AEB, CECA and UNACC, for their track record in promoting financial education and the recent creation of the platform for promoting financial and digital education, "Aula Financiera y Digital" (Financial and Digital Classroom), and to the Universidad de León, for the initiative whereby they developed a board game called "Crea tu billete" (Create your banknote).
Participating in Financial Education Day are the regional and national police forces, Mossos d'Esquadra and the Policía Nacional, who will give you some keys to protect you from attempted fraud and financial scams, and the influencer Nachter, who we will contact live.
